Machine Quilting Class
I am so excited because I've been wanting to dabble in machine quilting for some time now but didn't know where to start! I'm taking a class on quiltuniversity.com that starts tomorrow and I'm sooooo excited! It's a four week class and looks awesome. I've seen work from previous students who have taken the class and I think I can do it too! At least let's hope! I know it will take LOTS and LOTS of practice but at least this class will teach me lots of good techniques! I'll keep ya'll updated with photos of my progress. I don't have any photos that relate to this topic yet, so here are some cute fabric flowers that I made!

My Boys
As promised here are pictures of my boys since Izzy has been hogging the spotlight lately. Ozzie has been helping me sew, he pretty much always sits right next to my machine while I sew.
Then of course Gibby has to get in the action...nosey critter!

Okay...so besides being a fabric-o-holic I kinda sorta have been hoarding all my charm packs. I love that for around $7-$8 I can get an entire line of fabric! It's just nice to say "oh yeah I have that fabric"! I may not know what I am going to do with them yet, but at least I have them right? Plus, they just look so cute sitting there on my table! Here are a few in my "collection" right now!
My newest charm pack that just came in the mail today! Plume by Tula Pink!
Here are some more Marine Corps fabric for my friend Nathan, I also have some cool American flag fabric that I forgot to put into the photo.....now I just need to get to designing the top!
My next project that I'm working on right now is with these two jelly rolls....keep looking back for sneak peaks (I'll be posting them soon)!

Two things before bed....
Things I love....
1. Pedicures...I got a pedicure today! WOO HOO....it's been a long time! I was thinking when the last time I had one was earlier today and thought it was my wedding almost three years ago (3 years in July)!! But then I remembered that I went with my sister-in-laws Rachel, Katie, and niece Rylee for Aaron and Katie's wedding in June 2008....soo instead of three years ago it was only two (which isn't as bad, but still WAY TO LONG to go without a pedicure!)
You know how us girls are with pink! Izzy loves pink and looks really cute on this quilt!
2. I love sitting on the couch with my husband after a long day and having our kitties lay with us! Izzy was needing attention again today. Maybe my next post will need include my two boys Ozzie and Gibby :)

It really makes the fabric stand out and plus they are super fun to make! Let me know what you think!! I've made thirty hexagons today and will continue tomorrow...check back at the end of the day tomorrow for more!

Hexagon Crazy!
Okay, so I'm totally addicted to making these little hexagons! They are super easy and I can do them ANYWHERE! I can sew them at work, in the car, while watching t.v. absolutely anywhere and they are ADDICTING!! They are great for using up all my scraps. I'm not sure what I want to do with them yet, so if anyone has any ideas please let me know!

Sneak Peak of my new quilt!
Before I left Houston, my mom got the new 3 sister's line of fabric called Martinique by Moda!! I really liked the fabric and decided I needed some! I immediately got on my EQ6 and designed a quilt for the fabric. Here is a sneak peak of what I'm working on! Hopefully I'll have the top done after lunch today(which is currently getting fixed on the stove as we speak)!!! I will tell you that I named it Ruffle Quilt which is a hint of what is to come!!
