This is our new kitten Gibby! He has a long sad story of why we adopted him, but I only have time to put pictures up. I will post his story later!

Houston!
Thank you everyone for your prayers! My family in Houston and the surrounding areas are all okay! They will probably be without power for a long time, but everyone is fine! Thanks!

Update on Evacuation
Jon and I decided that we are leaving for St. Louis by noon today! We figure if nothing happens, at least will get a little vacation and see everyone in St. Louis! Please pray for New Orleans and really the entire Gulf Coast! Thanks!

So Jon and I might have to evacuate in the next couple of days....no official word yet on hurricane Gustav, but its all over the news that if the hurricane keeps going the way its going then New Orleans will start evacuations tomorrow! I'm really not looking forward to possibly evacuating, but it would be a nice little vacation! We would go to STL for those of you wondering, because everyone else goes towards Houston and I would rather not be in all that traffic! I'll keep ya'll posted on the hurricane situation!

First week
Well, my first week of teaching is officially over. Even though this week seemed to take forever, I really enjoy what I'm doing! I LOVE being a teacher, which I thought would never happen! I think I enjoy it mostly because I teach all grades K-8th and I'm not just stuck with the same group everyday. I am going to be the volleyball coach this year and so many girls are interested! I already have around 20 girls that signed up with their registration form and money and I only sent the slips home on Tuesday! I am so excited and looking forward to the year (tired and busy as it may be!)

Well needed update!
Sorry it's been so long that I've written! We went to Houston/New Orleans/STL and on that journey our apartment in Nebraska flooded (again). We got back to Seward on June 2nd and immediately began to pack our stuff. We were not going to move to STL until the middle of June, but after all of the fun flooding we decided to get out ASAP. We moved to STL on June 8th and have been living with Jon's parents until Aaron and Katie's wedding which was June 28h.
We were planning on moving to New Orleans on July 1st, but on Sunday June 29th I dislocated my shoulder again. Jon's parents, Jon and myself went to the ER from 8:3o pm until 11:00 pm. The doctor put my arm back in and put me on some good pain killers. The doctor told me that my ligaments in my right shoulder are pretty much stretched out and that I will have to get surgery as soon as I can (looking forward to that). He said something about having to get a rod put into my shoulder which sounds fun. So now after that fun event we will be in STL another week. We are moving to New Orleans July 7th which is a Monday so that my arm will be better (as better as can be) and so that my pain killers will be finished since I can't drive while taking them!
I will put some pictures up from Aaron and Kate's wedding when I get a chance, I left my camera/computer cord in the car! Also, I will eventually update my photoblog too! Sorry this whole moving thing sucks.
