Volleyball is over!

My first season as a volleyball coach is almost over. I only have one more game with Lutheran High on Tuesday and that will complete the season. I truly enjoyed being the assistant coach for Lutheran High. I have learned a lot about coaching and enjoyed getting to know the girls.
I was the head coach for my school, Atonement Lutheran, and that season ended October 22nd. I am so proud of how far my girls came! I had two seniors teams, a 7th grade team and an 8th grade team, due to the amount of girls that wanted to play! My 7th graders made 5th in the tournament and 8th grade made 3rd!
I enjoyed getting to know the girls outside of a "classroom" environment and see their individual personalities show on the court. I am sad that volleyball is over, but excited to get a break and focus of getting this shoulder of mine finally fixed! I had an awesome experience coaching and love it more than I ever would have imagined! Congrats to all my volleyballers! Ya'll are awesome and I feel privileged to have been able to coach ya'll this year.

Shoulder AGAIN!

I dislocated my shoulder again! My arm is pretty much shot and I don't have any other choice to to have surgery! This week I will be getting an MRI to see how bad it is. Then sometime before Thanksgiving I will be getting surgery. I don't know all the details about it yet, but I will be in an immobilizer for 6 weeks afterwards! I will post more when I know!

Your thoughts?

What do you think about this article?
http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/blog/big_league_stew/post/School-suspends-12-year-old-for-having-Rayhawk-f?urn=mlb,113776
I just read this article and I want to hear what everyone thinks about it! As a school teacher and sports fan, I think that the school should be a little more lenient. Especially when the playoffs/World Series is such a big deal! I think an in-school suspension was a tad too much!
Leave a comment and let me know what you think!

Happy 1st Birthday Xavier

Our nephew turns 1 today! I can't believe it's already been a year since Xavier was born! I can't believe how big he's become and how smart this little guy is! We wish that we could be with you X to celebrate your birthday! Since we can't, I thought seeing pictures of kitties would help! We love you buddy!
Love,
