Catching Up!

It's been a while since I've been able to get to a computer. Jon and I got back to Nebraska on January 7th, and have been really busy figuring out some things. The first thing we did was go to Concordia and talk with the placement guy to see how things were looking for a job for Jonny. Hopefully we'll be hearing some news as early as February! We received our diplomas in the mail on Saturday the 12th; it was such a good feeling to have it in my hands and realize that we were finally done with school! Then I have been looking for a new job in town so that I didn't have to waitress anymore! I started my new job at the bakery in town this past Monday and absolutely love it! The only bad news is that I have to be in a 4:45 AM, but I finish around noon, so the hours aren't too bad and I am full time! I love it there and the environment is so much better than at the restaurant I was working at. Next, our car needed a new transmission so we really did not drive it too much over the past two weeks. We just got it fixed Thursday the 17th and it runs wonderfully now! We were able to get the Honda dealership to pay for it which was awesome, since we really can't afford to buy a new transmission now anyway. Jon is working at Seward High School as a sub this semester, and is the head coach of the sophomore basketball team and the assistant coach of the jv and varsity team. He will also be the assistant baseball coach when the season starts. Sorry that I've haven't updated sooner, but Jon and I have been so busy that today was the first day I was able to get to a computer! I promise that I will be at a computer at least once a week, so be patient with me if you email me and I don't get back to you right away!! Love ya'll!
