I DID IT and I'm living to tell it!

I cut my hair today! WOO HOO! It feels so good! It will take me a few days to get used to the length; they were able to cut 12 inches off! I really like it, but it doesn't feel like me just yet! Here are pictures for ya'll!

Haircut!

Well I am FINALLY getting my big haircut tomorrow! For those of you who don't know, I have decided to donate my hair to locks of love! So tomorrow I have an appointment at 9:30AM, right after I get off work, to get the big 10 inches cut off! I will post pictures tomorrow so everyone can see. I'm hoping that my hair will be right at my shoulders but we'll see, as long as they have enough hair for me to donate! I am really excited and nervous at the same time. I've had long hair for a long time and hope that Jon will still like me after I cut it short! At least we're married already so he is stuck with me no matter what : )! Anywho....I will post some pictures tomorrow! Wish me luck!
Love ya'll

Okay....sorry to everyone that I suck at this whole every week blog thing....it will be MUCHO MUCHO easier when Jon and I have the internet at our house!
Nothing too much has happened since the last I've posted! Jon has been helping coach basketball at Seward High and the season will be over this weekend! Then baseball starts, hich will hopefully bring warmer weather.
Jon and I both got the flu; Jon was out for two days and I was out for about five!! BLAH! I don't remember the last time I had the flu that bad, it definitely kicked my butt!
Jon's resume was sent to Lutheran High School West in Cleveland, Ohio and Lutheran High South in St. Louis, MO! Everyone please pray for us (we are hoping STL), but where ever God wants us we'll go! I'm still working early early early at the Bakery. The kitties are still very silly and love to snuggle!
I guess that's all I know for now!
Love ya'll!

Catching Up!

It's been a while since I've been able to get to a computer. Jon and I got back to Nebraska on January 7th, and have been really busy figuring out some things. The first thing we did was go to Concordia and talk with the placement guy to see how things were looking for a job for Jonny. Hopefully we'll be hearing some news as early as February! We received our diplomas in the mail on Saturday the 12th; it was such a good feeling to have it in my hands and realize that we were finally done with school! Then I have been looking for a new job in town so that I didn't have to waitress anymore! I started my new job at the bakery in town this past Monday and absolutely love it! The only bad news is that I have to be in a 4:45 AM, but I finish around noon, so the hours aren't too bad and I am full time! I love it there and the environment is so much better than at the restaurant I was working at. Next, our car needed a new transmission so we really did not drive it too much over the past two weeks. We just got it fixed Thursday the 17th and it runs wonderfully now! We were able to get the Honda dealership to pay for it which was awesome, since we really can't afford to buy a new transmission now anyway. Jon is working at Seward High School as a sub this semester, and is the head coach of the sophomore basketball team and the assistant coach of the jv and varsity team. He will also be the assistant baseball coach when the season starts. Sorry that I've haven't updated sooner, but Jon and I have been so busy that today was the first day I was able to get to a computer! I promise that I will be at a computer at least once a week, so be patient with me if you email me and I don't get back to you right away!! Love ya'll!

New Years Resolution

Well, I decided since Rachel and Jamie have really good blogs that my New Years Resolution would be to start my own blog! Mine probably won't be nearly as good or interesting until I figure this whole thing out. So, be patient with my blog until I learn more about it!! I'll start by putting some cute pics of my nephew Xavier from these past couple of weeks! Love ya'll!
