Gumdrop Pillows and a NEW Shelf!

First up, a local video store was closing and I saw a sign on the window saying shelves for sale.  I called them this afternoon and picked one up!! For $15 I got this awesome 7 X 4 foot shelf!! It used to hold DVDs on it and now it's my fabric storage!!! SCORE!!!  After spending all day organizing my sewing room I still have lots to do!  I will post photos soon after I'm done re-organizing that room!

Yesterday, I made a couple of Amy Butler's Gumdrop Pillows!! I've had this pattern for a few years and finally got around to making them!  I absolutely love this pattern; it was super easy and a quick project! I see many more of these in my future!  (Maybe even a few for a certain photographer that I know) ;)
I made these Gumdrop Pillows from Amy Butler's recent Soul Blossoms line!  Let me know what ya'll think!

Great score and pillows! I'd love to make some for my grandson someday, but he's only five mths old right now. And if he fell off and got hurt as he gets older, I'd be in big trouble! Guess I better wait!

I also have this pattern, actually I have had it for years. I have one question, what did you use to fill the pillow? They are very beautiful. sylvia klein
